We’ve got you covered. At HD Contractor, we work closely with in-house designers, engineers, and trade professionals to help plan your remodel from start to finish. You won’t have to juggle multiple contacts — we streamline everything for you

What types of remodeling projects do you specialize in?

We specialize in full-service residential remodeling — kitchens, bathrooms, ADUs, garages, decks, siding, and more. If it’s part of your home, we’ve probably done it.

How soon can you start my project?

This depends on the scope of work and our current project pipeline. Once we assess your needs, we’ll give you a realistic start date and timeline.

Do you offer free consultations or estimates?

Yes! We offer free consultations to discuss your vision and provide an estimate for your project.

Technical QUESTIONS

Are permits required, and do you handle them?

Yes, many remodeling projects require permits — and yes, we handle the entire permitting process on your behalf.

What is your process from start to finish?

It starts with a consultation. From there, we help with design, provide an estimate, handle permits, source materials, and manage the build until completion. We’re your project partner at every step

What materials do you use, and can I choose?

We source durable, high-quality materials from trusted vendors — including custom cabinetry, tile, hardwoods, and energy-efficient fixtures. We’ll walk you through options based on your budget and vision, and you’ll have the final say. If you already have specific finishes or brands in mind, we’re happy to work with those too

Do you handle plumbing and electrical in-house?

Yes — we work with licensed professionals who are part of our dedicated team. That means fewer delays and better coordination during your remodel. We don’t sub out these trades to random contractors — our plumbing and electrical partners are used to working with us regularly, so the quality and communication stay consistent.

How do you handle unexpected issues once construction begins?

We do everything we can to prevent surprises — but if we open a wall and find something like dry rot or outdated wiring, we’ll stop and talk you through it. You’ll get clear options, pricing, and next steps before we move forward. Our goal is to keep you informed and in control — not blindsided by hidden costs.

Billing QUESTIONS

How is payment structured?

We break down payment into clear phases: usually a deposit to get started, one or two progress payments during construction, and a final payment when everything’s completed. You’ll get this full schedule in writing up front, so you’re never left guessing when or what you’ll owe.

Do you offer financing?

We don’t offer in-house financing at this time, but we can recommend a few third-party lenders our clients have used with success. If you’re thinking about financing your remodel, let us know early in the process and we’ll help connect you to the right resources.

Can I make payments online?

Yes — we accept secure online payments through our project dashboard. It’s fast, easy, and keeps all your project info, payments, and communication in one place. No paper invoices or messy email threads.

What happens if I need to pause or cancel a project?

We understand that sometimes plans change. If you need to pause or cancel your remodel, we’ll go over the current project stage, any work completed, and any non-refundable items (like custom orders). We’ll work with you to make the best decision and minimize any costs where possible.

Will I get a detailed invoice?

Always. Transparency is core to how we operate. You’ll receive line-item invoices that clearly outline labor, materials, and any additional services, so you know exactly what you’re paying for at every step.
